18 Mar INOVAX deploys first Data Center containers in Brazil
With the development of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) area and with companies looking to invest more and more in cloud computing, the Conteiners Data Center market in Brazil is in turmoil. We are experiencing a moment of development of the local economy and companies have seen in this solution the best way to sustain the expansion of their operations. INOVAX, in partnership with Huawei, has been a pioneer in implementing this solution in the country.
In early March of this year (03/02/2013) INOVAX carried out the logistics of transport and implementation of another Container Data Center at Mackenzie College in São Paulo. In December 2011 INOVAX made it possible to install the first Container Data Center in Brazil also at Mackenzie, a symbol of the growth of the Brazilian data center market and the technological development of Brazilian educational institutions. The innovative initiative is a partnership with Huawei.
According to the COO of INOVAX, Manoel Alberto Rodrigues Neto, the Container Data Center is an intelligent solution that is the new trend in the Information and Communication Technology market, as it meets several demands in a single core. "CDC is the application of the concept of modular solutions to the datacenter area, addressing complex multidisciplinary issues in a standardized way, making use of best practices," he said.
The project has considerably reduced the investment cost by more than 60% when compared to the conventional Data Center system. In addition, the flexibility and implementation time, which lasted about 2 months, minimized the need for space and civil interventions in the process. Other advantages of the CDC are mobility, security and practicality.
In addition to this data center, INOVAX in partnership with Huawei is in the process of developing other projects in the same format planned for this year.
