21 Jun Huawei / INOVAX Container Data Center is the first to receive TIER III Certification
O Conteiner Data Center (CDC) HUAWEI, represented in Brazil by INOVAX, received in the last month of May the Tier III certification through the Uptime Institute and became the first Conteiner Data Center to receive certification.
INOVAX brought to Brazil, in partnership with Huawei, the first cloud CDC in 2011 and since then the project has been a pioneer in the country.
The structure features a 2N (double backup system) architecture for power distribution and cooling systems, reducing the risk of any type of failure. It currently supports a virtual desktop infrastructure with more than 10,000 users.
The CDC is equipped with energy efficient technologies, including uninterruptible power supply (UPS), hot / cold containment aisle, efficient cold water pipes from the air conditioning system, a single high energy density cabinet and intelligent management. These features allow the containerized data center to achieve high efficiency with low energy utilization rate (PUE), even in high temperature environments.
Since its launch, Huawei's cloud data center has been deployed on a large scale across China, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa. It has a temperature tolerance between -40 ° C and 55 ° C, and a rating of 1.25 EUP in the automated natural cooling system.
INOVAX brought the CDCs to the Brazil in partnership with Huawei foreseeing rapid growth in the cloud data center market, which has become more complex to meet new industry needs. Increasingly it has become increasingly difficult for traditional internal data centers to deal with the ever-changing needs of the company's customers. Modular data centers came to help companies adapt to these changes.
The Uptime Institute was founded in 1993 and is the most important data center certifier in the world. Certification is carried out in two phases: Design Certification to ensure that the base solution is compatible with Tier Level, followed by Facility Certification, which is an on-site inspection and product verification.
