On 11/24 INOVAX
The event had several stalls with sweets, barbecue, popcorn, corn and other typical foods, as well as stalls with games such as rings and fishing. The end of the afternoon was animated by a Banda de forró pé de serra.
“Initiatives like this reinforce INOVAX's intention to contribute to develop and qualify the population of the place in which we operate. Actions like this and FORSOFT, in which we adopt interns from underprivileged regions, are a way for the company to promote scientific knowledge and the personal development of young people who need this opportunity to grow professionally ” stated Leandro Tavares, Communication and Marketing Analyst at INOVAX.
The Administrative Analyst Rachel Gaspar also highlighted the social bias of the event. “I thought our participation was important because in this type of action we developed our sense of social responsibility. And by the way, I like it a lot. I feel useful to another human being ”, he stated.
The event exceeded expectations and with the funds raised, the Project will be able to assist five Talented Young students with scholarships for 6 months, hold three vacation courses, with about 40 public school students per course, and also purchase glassware and stationery materials to carry out course and dissemination of actions.
In addition to INOVAX, through donations from its employees, other companies in the Park sponsored the event such as the Business Incubator, FMC Technologies, EMC², Sodexo, Ambidados, Baker Hughes, HalliBurton, Schlumberger, among others.
