13 Feb Huawei's Container Data Center, brought to Brazil by INOVAX, leads the world market
IHS Tecnologia (IHS) recently released a report on modular data centers that shows Huawei ranked first among the most shipped Data Center Containers (CDC) worldwide, with an estimated global market share of 11%.
Through INOVAX, Huawei provides CDCs in Brazil for various scenarios and requirements, including fast implementation, flexible assembly, high efficiency, high power density and limited space restrictions. Today, Huawei's CDC is becoming one of the fastest growing products in its market segment, being applied in commercial companies and in a number of industries, including telecommunications, education, health and energy.
Huawei has two containerized data center product offerings: IDS1000-A all-in-one solution and IDS1000-C cluster solution. IDS1000-A is a highly integrated small capacity CDC solution, combining all systems in a single container, including power and distribution, cooling, IT cabinets, cabling, fire protection, lightning protection and monitoring. The product is available in two sizes, 20 and 40 feet, and has high reliability and security. The IDS1000-C is composed of several clustered containers, which can be used by small, medium and large data centers. It consists of four functional containers: IT, power, cooling and network operations.
Huawei CDC solutions won the Blueprint award from the data center Dynamics in 2012 and the Data Center Innovation of the Year award from Telecom Asia in 2014.
